Senior Digital Account Executive
We are looking for a detail oriented, passionate media professional to join as a Senior Digital Account Executive, working on a range of fantastic clients in retail, auto and finance.
This is an opportunity to work in a highly integrated agency environment, collaborating with media and creative teams to create truly holistic & innovative campaigns that deliver real and meaningful results for our clients.
In this role you will be an integral part of the JOY digital media team. You will work across all digital media channels, including search, social, display and video, native and content.

What you will need to bring to the table:
Delivering campaign implementation excellence, to ensure campaigns go live on time and are optimised according to client objectives and KPIs. This includes sourcing specs, crafting ad copy, trafficking creative, setting up campaigns and monitoring performance.
Manage the execution of day-to-day campaign implementations and optimisations across paid search, YouTube and programmatic - leveraging support of SEM/digital assistants where applicable.
Work on client Digital strategy, present recommendations to client, manage campaign performance against client KPIs.
Manage budget, closely monitoring under or overspend, traffic abnormalities, and opportunities for the clients.
Owning campaign reporting and providing insights & optimise to deliver the best performance.
Assisting the wider connections and creative team to prepare presentations, schedules, and research.
Processing and loading digital media bookings and supplier invoices as well as assisting with budget reconciliations and account queries.
Participating in brainstorming and completing desk research to contribute to recommendations for clients.
Working with the media teams, prepare search strategies (including Audience Targeting, keyword approaches, and test and learn opportunities relevant to campaign briefs).
Owning and maintaining strong client, partner and internal agency relationships across specified accounts.
What makes a great Senior Digital Account Executive at JOY
At least 3+ year’s experience with executing digital media campaigns across Paid Search &/or Programmatic Media preferably working in a Digital Agency.
Tools experience across Google Ads, Google Display Network, YouTube Advertising essential. Any exposure to Programmatic and Native Media buying is a huge bonus.
Advanced skills using Microsoft Suite
Proven ability to deliver analysis and insights in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for working within digital activation and a drive to constantly upskill and learn new technical expertise.
Strong accuracy and attention to detail – this is a key. An aptitude for numbers and logical thinking is beneficial, as it unlocks insight and a different kind of creativity.
A love and curiosity of all thing’s media – keeping up to date with the latest trends, having a natural interest in consumer behaviour and decision making.
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
Ability and enthusiasm to ‘own’ and be accountable for tasks while still actively seeking understanding and comprehension.
A creative thinker who actively seeks solutions to problems.
Works well in a collaborative team environment.
Must be an AU resident/citizen or have an appropriate AU working visa.
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum (inclusive of super)
